It is a 5 stars AND behond.
I don’t know where to begin.
This is one of my favorite book EVER. And I don’t say it lightly.
I loved Nikolai since the first book of the series. I love crazy unhindged characters.
I loved Brandon as much because he is the shy sensible one.
This book was obviously made for me.
Not only it didn’t disappoint me but it exceeded all my expectations.
You will also met Kolya.
It is my third favorite characters after Nikolai and Bran but before Jeremy.
It made me laughed SO LOUD and SO many times that it was awesome.
This book is a masterpiece of tenderness, happiness, tension and also addresses very sensitive topics like suǐcīde, self-hårm and rãpě.
The audiobook is also a masterpiece.
The audiobook is narrated by @Teddy Hamilton and @Shane East. They’ve done an amazing work. They are perfect.

addicted, obsessed and a little too far gone.
god of fury was a read i picked up after seeing everyone raging on bookstagram about it. it is the one book that started my spiral to mm romances other then danmei. my first read of 2024 and it all but changed me as a person.

nikolai sokolov, a man that was obsessed to make brandon king, the perfect boy, the twin brother of his enemy, landon king, his only and only. his lotus flower that made him do things he had never done before. he had to make the man his. to see him break that perfect control that he made sure he had. he wanted to see him come undone.
brandon king, a man who loved control. it was the only thing that kept him going. a man who felt he lived in the shadows of his twin. he had a perfect routine. a routine that was all but destroyed by one person, nikolai sokolov. he knew it was a bad decision. he knew that letting himself fall for a dangerous man like nikolai was going to be a mistake. but brandon had fallen in to deep.
nikobran's first meeting was all it took for both of them, one to become obsessed and the other to be confused. after every way nikolai invaded brandon's life, brandon's walls kept shattering. his routine molded itself around nikolai so perfectly that every time nikolai and his cocky ass was not there joining him at his 5am jogs, he felt strange. nikolai used every way he could to make brandon fall for him, to make him realize that he was just as obsessed with him as he was with brandon.
how as nikolai called it...umm...koyla one day just refused to get hard for anyone else but him. that was so funny to read. koyla was the MAIN CHARACTER.
their first time together in the ally was so hot. every time they met in the penthouse and brandon tried to make himself believe it was all just physical when he knew it was not. nikolai becoming his everything. their arguments, their love, their attraction had me going crazy.
the way nikolai stayed away from brandon during his dark episodes, wanted to make brandon trust him to show his inner deep secrets with him. how he held him close after he removed that watch from his wrist. him being sad, hurt and angry that brandon did not want anyone to know about them. and later how brandon told his friends, his parents about him and nikolai.
levi's reaction to it all was just so funny. like the single chapter in his pov was so perfect. my poor levi just wanted a normal son and for his other normal children to have normal partners. but killian and nikolai said absolutely not.
now the chapter that made everyone sob. brandon, my little baby. nikolai's reaction to it all, from the way he held and begged him to not leave him. held him in his lap during the drive to the hospital, him staying and praying until brandon was safe and then calling his father again to get his revenge. then the most iconic, landon x nikolai pairing getting revenge for brandon was so satisfying.
loved the relationship between landon and brandon. landon calling brandon his other half, being there for him, ahh perfect.
god of fury changed me in a good way. it was every single trope i loved and it was all well done. read it, you won't be disappointed.

BWBH Review:
Bran has never been attracted to men; frankly, he’s not all that attracted to women. But that all changes when he meets Nikolai Sokolov. Nikolai is absolute chaos compared to Bran’s reserved. While Bran insists there is no attraction, Nikolai refuses to let go of the grumpy art student.
These characters are so well-written. Bran’s struggles with self-acceptance and self-harm really spoke to me. It was heartbreaking to hear him tear himself apart, but thankfully, he has Nikolai, who will not give up on him no matter how “broken” he feels.
I wish I could put into words the emotions I am feeling because of this book. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook. Teddy Hamilton and Shane East were absolutely incredible! They brought these characters to life in a way that made me feel I was a part of their story. I wish I could give this book infinite stars.
My only complaint? I need more! Hi Rina, I’m AJ, and I am formally requesting a series about Bran and Nikolai just doing day-to-day activities.
God of Fury is perfect for readers who enjoy MM romance, opposites that attract, and MMCs that will forever have a place in your heart.
