After seeing @kierra_lewis1 reel on the God of Fury, I have never added a book faster to my TBR. My first dark romance book of the year and my god was it worth it!

Tropes:
✔️Opposites attract
✔️Enemies to lovers
✔️Mafia romance

I’m still processing what I read, but whatever Rina Kent has put in the book I am gobbling up.  Brandon. Niko. Brandon and Niko. The rollercoaster of emotions this book put me through, I was hooked from the first chapter, and the SPICE, 10/10.

This book is part of a series but is considered a standalone. So if you have patience I would say start from the beginning as there are a lot of side characters involved but If you are impatient like me I cannot recommend this book enough, a 5 ⭐️ book for me.

Brandon and Niko are my new favourite couple of the year and we are still in January. If that doesn’t say enough, I don’t know what will! Go read this book!

Please note that this book deals with some sensitive issues so check the TW before reading

First and foremost: MIND THE CONTENT WARNINGS
this book deals with a number of dark and potentially triggering topics, so make sure you are in the correct headspace before diving into this book (and the series in general);

I’ve often struggled with queer romance for one reason or another - it can be a minefield - but this story handled it well. Writing an Ace/Demi character is not easy, so having a main character experience what many who identify with Ace-spec have is refreshing and oddly validating.
