Beautiful, enchanting, and calming are the words that I'd use to describe On Cat Mountain.  With Buguet's beautiful illustrations and Richard's way with words, this book comes together to create a harmonious and cat-loving tale about the bond between a human and her cat.  This is a great, tranquil book, perfect for those interested in folktales and for young ones who just really, really love cats.
