I enjoyed this as much as I really can enjoy contemporary Dark Romance, so...4 stars, I think.

What more do you need out of a mafia romance?

This just didn't work for me which is very rare for this author.

Rating: 4.5 STARs

This book was fantastic. Loved the fact that for a big chunk of the story the action took place in Russia. Loved the chemistry between the main characters and way they couldn't keep their hands from each other. It was intense. It had just the right mix of everything to keep me well entertained and intrigued till the end. Definitely recommended!

Kresley Cole writing erotica. Okay then.

I did really like this book, and I was totally into it, but then at the end things got a little shaky for me. If, however, you like BDSM, then you're probably going to love the very things that I didn't care for. Based on past experiences, I RUN AWAY QUICKLY from overly domineering heroes. Sevastyan definitely veers toward alphahole.

That said, Cole's writing propels you forward as always, and there's humor in the midst of the pathos. The sex scenes are HOT, but if you've read Immortals After Dark then you already knew that was going to happen.

Look. Kresley Cole is still one of my comfort reads. It's not her; it's me.

Ugh, I’ve been undecided on what to rate this book.

At 80% until like 93% I was seriously considering DNFing but then realised I was so close to the finish line, I just powered through.

My biggest issue with this story is that Natalie started all confident and boss-bitch like but by that point she basically ended up accepting to be treated like a thing.

I was so happy when she decided to leave Aleks and go back to Nebraska; let’s not dwell on how Sevastyan managed to get to the airport in record time.

The book was decent, it turned out as expected for a mafya dark romance book so I can’t go lower than 3 stars

Good storyline yes predictable but not the same thing so it was good just too much smut

This made me want to move to Mother Russia and find me a man that could do all these things to me.

Holy Hotness.

4 HOT AND STEAMY stars!
