This was the first time I have read a Kelsey Cole book and I must say I will definitely be reading more. If you like erotic you will love this book because there is a lot of it but it has a good story to go along with it. It is Hot Hot Hot!!

You and I are inevitable

Natalie has been working hard, she is working to raise money to find out about her family. She was given up for adoption and she had a great foster family, but she want's to know more.

Enter....Sevastyan. A beautiful hunk of tattooed, scarred damaged male. Natalie's 'manalizer' is thrown out of wack. She does not know how to read him and all of a sudden has a hunger to know more about him.

In the beginning:
I loved Natalie. She is spunky and does not jump his bones even though she wants to.
I love her best friend (more about her in a moment) she has a dirty mouth and isn't afraid to speak her mind.
I love Sevastyan. He is broody and gives Natalie a hard time. They have some smexy steamy lovin that makes Nat wonder if she has never 'done the deed' because she has never had anyone drive her crazy like Sevasyan does. This man is what wet dreams are made out of.

Sevastyan had watched me and wanted me ~ darkly?

Jess (The best friend). Here are some of her 'one liner' highlights:

"You better be careful, you picky prude, or else you'll take your hymen to your grave. Like a skin tag."

"I've been stress-eating my way across Greece."
I frowned, "You don't stress-eat-"
"Cock, Natalie, I was stress-eating cock. There, you made me say it, happy now?"
"Opa!"

"I am of the feminist school of thought that says 'If momma like, then momma fucking do..."

"...He tackled you in a cornfield, dick-glamoured you, and you still somehow resisted...."

He kidnaps her to take her to her father, a vor in Russa. I give him some credit, she was taking too long to make up her mind and she was in danger.

Then the rage:
I don't care how hot you are you don't manipulate the situation for entrapment!

"You want me to make you come. You crave for me to fuck you, but only if it ends there. Beyond sex, anything with me doesn't appeal to you."

Slow your roll you hypocritical prick. You are the one that doesn't want to talk about your past or answer any questions about yourself!
And so the manipulation begins, she is taken through some hot adventures but through it all I just want to

He takes her beyond any limits she could have ever dreamed she might have. She looses herself every time, and when he is done....

'No, no, Natalie. Don't wake up yet."

And that is exactly what it is like. Their physical relationship is like a dream but she has to one day wake up to the reality that Sevastyan does not want to let her in, anywhere! The 'family business' his life, his past ANYWHERE!
The same formula of 'If you really knew me, you would run away screaming.'
Well, that may be, but if you love someone you have to eventually fess up!
Or, lose them.

We get little teases into his past, little bread crumbs that Nat is usually too 'dick-glamored' to pick up on. It started to drive me a little insane.

"Oh, no, no, no, Siberian. I'm not pulling away - you're shoving me out the fucking door!

Well, at least she said it.

Sevastyan ended up pissing me off so much that I almost DNF about 75% through. I can't disclose my kicker without a big spoiler but lest just say....

Girl was thinking with her puss at a point that I could not even remove myself enough from his asshattery (yes it is now a word I believe someone used it before me though) to get hot and bothered by what they were doing (and I COULD have been beyond hot).

She needed to stick with what she was feeling moments before:
"My God, are you hearing me at all? You sound like a freak! You can't keep me if I don't want to be kept!"
Run little girl....Run.

Spoiler And I just have to address the near RAPE scene. Just because a woman's body is responding in a receptive way does NOT give you any right to 'take advantage' of that. And giving her the only option of SURRENDERING or losing you FOREVER is sick and twisted.

Well, we get everything out and in the open. The sorid past is reveled. And, as usual, it is not as bad as we may have expected. But the damage was done for me...I hated Sevastyan.

I enjoyed the writing, I went past the point of melting (bring a fan), I loved the characters (even if only for the first half of the book). I would certainly read something else by Cole eagerly.

Dear Sevastyan,
To you and you sick games

EBook provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

The random! and overuse of exclamation points! annoyed the heck out of me and made the main character seem less than mature.

Blew. My. Minds... All of em. If ya know what I mean...

When I started reading, It was exciting, then I took a break. When I got back to reading it, I could not feel it that much.
