llego a mis expectativas de un cheesy little romance book, nada del otro mundo pero me gusto. Personalmente odio los apodos entonces no fui muy fan del “Queen” pero overall Finn ilysm. May this kinda love find me!!!
Hits a little close to home for comfort.
Did I love the Queen nickname? No, not particularily, but it's not the worst nickname I've had to sit through. Probably closer to a 4.5, but this is goodreads, so rounded up. A familiar story, unfortunately not enough real life stories end up like Avery's.

I really liked the relationship between the FMC and the
MMC. He wanted to show her how beautiful she really is and he also realizes that he wants more. They have both been in toxic relationships that hurt them.
The novel is about growth, healing, and finding your inner strength/beauty. The spice was about her pleasure and discovering what she likes in bed.
Especially, since her ex was all about receiving never about giving, and towards the end of their relationship it was about no sex at all.
The book was good. I saw the plot twist coming at the end but I really enjoyed the FMCs storyline. She is a badass and was pushed into putting herself first. I also really liked that the MMC was hurt because it showed that men can also be heartbroken by a woman too. It should the after effects of heartbreak and the way you can grow after them.
Overall, I would recommend if you like a deals between MMC and FMC. Spice, sexy tips, healing, Vegas, and romance.

There are parts of this book I really enjoyed and parts I feel address cringy. Avery hates her body and basically spends the entire book trying to be someone she’s not. Finn falls hard for her, but it’s this version of her that’s fake. I understand trying to find yourself after a long relationship ends and getting out of your comfort zone but parts of this book took it too far. Maybe if these characters were in their early 20’s it would’ve been more acceptable. Also, I think Palmer is selfish and toxic as a best friend. Hoping the next book in the series is better.

While based on the descriptions, I don’t think the FMC is actually that plus sized lol.. but it doesn’t matter cause the concept of insecurities applies to everyone. I really enjoyed this book, had lots of layers, I’m only docking it a star because I felt it was a tad too long and got a tiny bit repetitive with a few compliments and like thought patterns. But overall, this was really solid!

Ok so I absolutely hated everything about this book except for Finn. A sweeter, more responsible, and mature guy could not be found. Hes amazing and has gone through some shit. He has issues and insecurities but is the sweetest man on the planet. He puts Avery first and does everything to make sure she knows how amazing she is. But Avery? Shes HORRIBLE! I get her body issues and talking down about herself, especially after what Mason did. However, talking bad about every other woman does not make you any better. Every woman was mean. Skinny girls were the devil and the enemy. She literally had no healthy friendships except with Lennox, but even then, she was awful. There wasnt a paragraph that didn't mention how fat she was, how horrible Palmer was being, how Mason is a cheater, or anything negative. Ans honestly, weight wise, she wasnt that big and its a huge insult to most plus size girls. She definitely did not represent well. Finn is the only reason I finished it. I wish Avery would have actually grown instead of being glossed over. There are much better plus size FMC that don't see every woman as an enemy and who have insecurities and show the struggle well.
