could not put it down!!!!!! loved this. avery did get on my nerves a few times but man this was good!!! also could do without him calling her queen every other page.
I’m sorry, I loved this book and I have never related to a character more than Avery, but I swear I could only hear ‘Queen’ said in the way a gay best friend would to his straight friend, and I was half expecting Finn to eventually say ‘Slay Queen’ and confirm my fruity suspicions, but instead I had to endure the torture of being invested and snapping out of it when the nickname comes along every three seconds. I honestly think my bias towards bigger girls getting the hot guy is the only reason this book is 5 stars.

A pretty good book! A great first 3/4 of the book, the spice was good and the characters connection felt real and was just beautiful however the ending and some of the little things in the book weren't that enjoyable to me personally, however I would still recommend this book to give it a read!

I decided to read this because it had a lot of hype from Booktok, which can be a hit or miss for me. This was a hit for me. Although this book is very spicy, I thought the story was really interesting and kept me captivated. I should have expected the twist at the end.
