His short stories are always an interesting ride. I just finished one where the lady loses her head because it got stuck underneath the arm on a clock tower as she looked at the town below. I never saw the ending coming. I can't wait to see how the next short story ends.

I've read several of Poe's stories with my 9th and 8th grade students. The language is a bit advanced but they love the twisted endings. Poe is creepy and odd and so much fun to read!
