This 5-star rating is based on the many undisputed all-timers ("The Cask of Amontillado", "The Raven", etc., etc.), as well as some hidden gems and a generally high level of work.  But I have to add a huge asterisk for The Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym, which is one of the worst novels I have ever read.

Edgar Allan Poe is one of the few writers where everything he writes is just amazing. He is one of the few writers that i have read everything of, he has a very special way with words that just makes me want to read more and more.
