Truly unbelievable. Will think about this book every day for the rest of my life. Has now taken the spot for #1 favorite book. Will recommend to everyone who likes reading fantasy even a little bit.

Overall, I quite enjoyed it. Started slow, but it picked up. There were some unnecessary minor characters introduced in the early parts who then disappeared later on.
Good, fun, immersive fantasy - but definitely lacked the depth I hoped for when a book is this long, especially when the climax was 50 pages before it ended. Really liked these characters though, and hopefully some of the more lopsided focuses could be corrected in a sequel. As it stands, a good one-volume fantasy epic, which I am very happy to have more of
