A great cast of characters, and a fascinating world full of neat ideas and stories. The hardest part was initially getting into the story: you are introduced to a lot of characters and places and just soooo many names immediately, and just when you found your footing—BAM, new chapter, new POV, new location, probably more new names. As time goes on, the pieces begin to come together, but it can be a bit of a bumpy take-off for an otherwise exciting and well-written journey.

For now, I dont even know where to start writing how much I loved this. All I'm going to say is if this is on your tbr (or not) and you live high fantasy with fantastic World building and a variety of interesting characters, just pick it up. Don't let its size intimidate you because I'll guarantee when you're done you'll just want more! I'm so glad this lived up to my expectations and I absolutely loved it!
