This is the final book in the series, however, it can easily be read as a standalone. I haven’t read any of the others but I didn’t find myself lost with the story at all. Cam places a bet with his friends and teammates that he can’t spend two months with a woman without falling in love. Seems easy to Cam so he jumps on the bet, but sometimes things in life aren’t so easy.

When they first meet they have ulterior motives. Cam wants to win a bet with his team and Olivia wants Cam to be a celebrity spokesperson for her non-profit. Cam and Olivia both agree that they aren’t dating, this is just about hooking up. But the more time they spend together feelings and emotions start to change.

There is no denying the chemistry between Cam and Olivia, it is seriously kindle melting hot! But watching them help each other and watching them struggling with their emotions was really what drew me into the story. Of course, like anything it isn’t always smooth sailing and they do run into some bumps in the road throughout the story.

I did enjoy this story and will definitely be going back to read the other books in the series.

I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

If you read it once, you read it twice. The overall premise of the series has been something I read.... Numberous times. Group of friends make a bet that one their own: hot, talented and overall ladies man can make the equally insanely hot girl fall in love with him and then a whirlwind romance ensures.

I'm not saying that this overused story premise wasn't a good read, cause it was and I've very much enjoyed it, but it's not original. Despite that, if you're looking to read a sports romance filled with funny moments and great characters, definitely give this a try. It stood out a little more thentthe similar series I have read in the past and would definitely recommend to fellow readers for a quick read.

Hockey player is resistant to love. Heiress has been burned before. His teammates bet him that he can't spend time with her and NOT fall in love (it's the end of the series so "everyone else" is coupled up.) Refreshingly, Cam tells Olivia about the bet. And she's willing to go along because she needs a boyfriend to bring home to what appears to be a somewhat dysfunctional family (that is sort of fixed at the end but it's glossed over and I love a good family figuring it out story.)
A nice, easy read, not particularly deep but I was able to dive in without having read any other book of the series.

Cam and Olivia, what a pair! Steamy scenes, laughter and a bit of drama always makes for a good story.

This is my first book in the hockey series and first read by this author.

I received this ebook copy from the publisher and NetGalley for an honest review.

Such a good book.. and they finally won!! I really love the Hockey romance novels from Kelly Jamieson. They are so well written and I love the appearances from the couples in the older novels so we can continue to follow their lives. It was such an amazing ending to this series being able to see how happy all the couples turned out after all these years. I will def keep an eye out for the next one!! Wynn Hockey!

"Winners aren't players who never lose...they're players who never quit."

Wow. What an ending. Eight books later and the series has finally finished. I always feel a slight sadness when I finish a series like this. I'm such a sucker for series that are all companion books. You really get a sense of all the characters and get to see how much of a family they are.

I'm not going to lie, when I see the word 'bet' mentioned in a synopsis I instantly roll my eyes. It's such a juvenile trope that I hate reading about in contemporary romances. I decided to read on and see how things would play out. When Olivia and Cam decided to be honest with one another I was like "Hell Yeah!" since they probably wouldn't be making stereotypical mistakes people make in these situations. And then boom. They both act like an idiot and I'm once again shaking my head.

We've spent eight books waiting for the Aces to get the one thing they've been fighting for. The story was a bit predictable, but I truly loved how it ended. It was such a nice wrap up.
Spoiler I could've done without the proposal, but whatever I love a good HEA

"You know all those sayings...what doesn't kill us...gives us a lot of unhealthy coping mechanisms and a dark sense of humor."

I really liked this book because of the message. Fear can truly be so controlling. Not everyone can confront their fears let alone conquer it.

Since this is the end I can finally figure out who my favorite Ace player is. After meeting eight men I've decided while all of them have so many great qualities, Jared Rupp is the runner-up. And the best has got to be Max Hall. Love all my Aces though.

I am anxiously waiting for Play to Win. I'm lucky that I won't have to wait long to read another one of her hockey novels. Awesome ending to an amazing series.

This was a bittersweet read for me, because I love the Aces so much. I actually just discovered them last year, and then binged the rest of the series in 2018. I am really happy I did, because I enjoyed getting to know this team, and also, being a part of the the final chapter with them.

It's sort of fitting, that Jamieson chose Cam as her last Aces hero. Being a commitment-phobe, he was the last player we expected to see becoming a one-woman-man. He didn't do commitment. He didn't like taking chances on things he wasn't sure he could ace, but once he opened the door to Olivia, it was game on. And, all it took was a bet.

I wasn't sure about Cam, after having met him in previous books, but with him the central focus in Game On, I got to see that there was a lot more to Cam than met the eye. I saw his sweet and considerate side, his dedication to his family, and his big heart. There were all these little things he did, that made me, as well as Olivia, love him more and more.

Olivia was great too. Growing up the daughter of a very powerful family, she had been used and misled one too many times, and was now hesitant to trust her heart. That coupled with some self-confidence issues created by her past and the way her family treated her, made watching the evolution of her relationship with Cam very satisfying.

The combination of Olivia and Cam was fabulous. There was the attraction and heat, that I always like to see crackling between my hero and heroine, but I also loved how fun Jamieson made their interactions. Their first few dates bordered on rom-com, and I absolutely loved it! But, I also adored seeing them get beneath the surface and expose so much to each other.

It was not just the romance, which won my heart in the book, it was the wonderful farewell Jamieson gave to this group of guys. It was a fond farewell to all the couples we saw get their HEAs. Everyone was in attendance, and the finish was big and very, very satisfying.

I will miss the Aces, but look forward to what Jamieson has in store for us next.

Overall: Another fabulous Aces book, that was about taking chances, and the rewards you can gain when you open yourself and your heart.
