Like this better than the first book.

But I'm still not heavily into any mafia romances.

I have loved Gianna from the first book and I expected a bit more from her. I wanted to see more of how she became independent and maybe wanted her to start her own thing even if she was married to Matteo.

let’s not romanticize violence, misogyny, or the mafia please and thank you. also, there were a lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes throughout the book. I had to skim through so many parts. i need to stop reading random books i see on tiktok

I really liked this book! Its a short read and it rivals the first book in the series as my favorite so far! It had some good spicy scenes and a really good storyline. Definitely recommend!

2.5 / meh, I liked Matteo as much as I could but just couldn’t stand Gianna. The whole time she’s just whiny and selfish and way too prideful, I didn’t like reading from her perspective at all. Kinda just started skimming by the end but I mean, it’s alright
