Can’t say I loved this adaptation but happy to have it as a quick David copperfield intro before I commit to the og or a longer abridged version. Even without having any emotional attachment to the text I can tell this production was not it
So cool! A little long some times, but it's a pretty good book. I actually really love some parts of it!

Very long semi-autobiographical story of a boy who goes thru some early hardships in Victorian era England but grows up to become a successful and happy man. It's fine.

I am incredibly pleased with myself that I got through this! In the end it was easy, the characterisations and unexpected turns to events, with the nasty Uriah Heap and hilarious Macawber family truly reaching my heart. Read it!
