ummm wow. This was hands down one of the best books I’ve ever read. This is romance. I ugly cried, happy cried and then cried some more. I felt all the emotions of Archer and Bree and I can’t believe it took me this long to read this.

Started listening to the audiobook and thought it may just be the narrator’s interpretation that was throwing me off, but found it’s just the writing that I don’t vibe with. Also couldn’t get past Bree infantilizing Archer.

Great and promising premise to start, but read like a strange fanficition a quarter of the way through. This book also had a serious case of telling, not showing.
