My wounded healer, my beautiful Archer.

The story was beautiful, but slow paced. It was not exactly an entertaining book, but it was heartwarming.

I loved the plot. A girl with PTSD meets a small town mute guy, who's been leading an isolated life for so long. They both bring out the best in each other, and learn and teach the other how to love themselves everyday, and just keep moving forward.

Bree was a compassionate heroine, and maybe it's because her dad was disabled, or maybe she's just naturally compassionate, but either way she was just very patient, and understanding towards Archer. She never prodded him for anything, and let him get the grasp of stuff at his own pace.

Archer was a brave, brilliant, and beautiful young man, and I was in love with his innocence and vulnerability. I genuinely hope I come across more books with such male leads. My heart just always went out for him. I love how he gave Bree some strength and peace of mind, and how he sought strength and peacefulness within her.

This was a truly beautiful love story.

I was also really interested in the other residents. Most of them were really nice people, and they all added a bit more essence in creating the town's atmosphere. But I would like to strongly mention here that it is not nice- the way they treated ignored Archer for the majority of his life. They were all sweet people, yes. But they should've put in much more effort when it came to Archer. He deserved better. He was just a kid back then.

I hate Travis. Yes, I understand that the story tries to smoothen his character. Even Bree herself seems more confused by his existence, instead of being angry, and even Archer nurtures a tentative bond towards the very end. But I think Travis was always a bully, and always will be. Because as far as the story progressed, I didn't see any character development on him. Yes, in the end he saw things clearly and did the right thing. But what about his behaviour with Archer?

Jordan was a much better person, than Travis ever was. Actually, I don't think I wanna compare him with Travis.

The concept was exceptional, but the execution could've been better. I mean, it was 75% sex and only 25% story. I'm not complaining about the former, I just am wishing there was more of the latter. I genuinely loved the way the author brought about the intimate scenes, but after a certain point, I started feeling as though all those constant sex parts were just used as fillers, like whenever the author ran out of actual content, and wanted to add more pages to the book. And I didn't particularly like that.

But I'm giving this story 4 stars instead of 3, bcoz of the concept alone. Later on if I come across more books with a similar concept, but better written. Then this rating might go down to 3.

Like I said, the story is beautiful, but you might have to skim over certain pages, and skip certain portions to maintain a good pace. If not, you are at the risk of boring yourself.

Pls don't break his heart. Don't get his hopes up. He's been hurt before.

The sexual tension has me dying a sweet death.

I would never purposefully hurt this beautiful, sensitive, wounded man more than he had already been hurt.
Thank you Bree. On behalf of everyone reading this book.

He studied me, something warm and gentle coming into his beautiful eyes and he nodded simply, yes.
My heart.

You're the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, he said, and I smiled a small smile at him.
Can I pls come across more books like this?

He let out a breath and leaned his head back very, very slightly, giving me more access, baring his scar to me, a beautiful act of trust.
Holy f shit. Wow.

Because I wish you could see yourself through my eyes. I wish you could read my mind so that you would know how much I want you, no one else.
The first time I'm swooning over a scene where the girl says these words to the guy.

Teach me, Bree. Please teach me. Don't let me destroy this.
Is this guy trying to kill me?

Please understand. Please know that I love you. Please forgive me.
Yup, he most definitely is trying to kill me.

Beautiful story

Wow what an amazingly beautiful love story. I wish I could give this way more stars. My only problems were that it ended and that I wished I would've read this a lot sooner. Archer was just the sweetest most caring man and I totally loved Bree. They were the most perfect couple. Thank you for making such an amazing story Mia. I really hope the rumors are true about making this a movie because I will be one of the first people in the theatre watching it.

This book was good, but I feel like other than Archer, the other characters didn’t develop. They were just flat characters the ENTIRE time. I also feel as though this book could have been a lot better if Archer talked somewhere in the end (somehow) and said something powerful. To make the readers feel emotionally connected. It was a good book like I said, but I definitely was not connect with the book.

Truly, this is a masterpiece! I've never read something quite this brilliant. The writing is outstanding, and the plot and characters are something else. I think it's the purest form of love I've ever experienced.
If I could give it 10 stars, I would do so without hesitation!

I lost my heart to you. And, Bree, just in case you're wondering, I don't ever want it back.
