i absolutely love this book and i am so glad i bought the series. i love the magic, the story, and the characters. the character development in this is also beautiful as well. and the whole different worlds and different londons and everything is so creative and i adore the idea.
my favourite characters in this book have to be kell (i'm calling it right now, he's from black london), lila, rhy, holland (even tho he's a lil bitch), and i did sort of like athos. i love kell's personality and i adore him as a main character, lila is a badass and we love, rhy's a smol flirtatious boi and i adore him, holland was a badass and a really good villain, and athos was also an extraordinary villain. my only character complaint is that we lost holland, i was really hoping that his curse would be broken and that he would join kell and lila or something.
my really only overall complaint about this book is that there were a few spelling and grammatical errors, but every book has them, so it's fine
overall, i love this and i am excited to start 'a gathering of shadows.'

This world kept me interested from the start. The concept of different worlds and only specific people can travel those worlds intrigued me and I loved the magic system. This book kept me reading and it was fast paced, so I had to keep reading to see what happened next.
