I like the message of this book, but I'm not sure I can say the same about the technicalities. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of fantasy, I do enjoy it if it's well-written which was the case. However, I can't get behind authors trying to make it 'make sense'. It's one thing to present me with an unrealistic setting, it's another to try to rationalize it. I also missed a bit of worldbuilding. But otherwise, I enjoyed the story.

I didn’t realize this was about suicide before reading it?? But it was handled so well. What an interesting way to perceive that period between life and death and alternate universes. How clever! What an awesome read!!

Loved Nora as a character too! Flawed but so loving and really trying her best. So much talent and skill too.

it was good but not that memorable, it feels like a “say no to depression, be happy, live love laugh” post from instagram tbh

Ahhh so good! Midnight Library forced me to sit down and think. It explores so many interesting themes and questions: living with regret, the meaning of life, what it means to be successful, living to please others, realizing potential, finding contentment and love for oneself.
This will be one book that stays with me for a long time.
