Este libro es una representación de la vida de las mujeres en aquel entonces. Hay muchos simbolismos y figuras patriarcales que obligan a la autora a fingir que “está bien”. Fuera de eso la vemos poco a poco perder la cordura. Tuve muchos sentimientos encontrados al leer este libro. Es su punto de vista, la entendemos y empatizamos con ella. Creo que también dentro de su mente, sus “nervios” y tal vez del tapiz amarillo.

Oh to be a woman... Haunting doesn't even begin to describe this book.
A horrifying short story. Such good writing, perfect feminist horror!
Definitely a book you could re-read a thousand times and see a million different things.
