Adriana Locke does it again. Absolutely loved Maddox and Ashley. I couldn’t put the book down. Their story is fun and hilarious (mainly due to Banks). Loved the relationship between Maddox and his brothers, sister and parents. I hope we see Ashley’s friends in future books. Prepare to laugh, swoon, and have a good time.

Maddox is sweet and just the right amount of alpha. Ashley is strong and just the right amount of sassy. I enjoyed their back story and that they had been friends for a long time. What didn't make any sense was their, mainly Maddox's, reason to be apart. I still don't think I could verbalize what it was. He didn't want to be with her because he didn't know if he could be there for her? Or was it that he didn't want to be together because he didn't want them to get to a point where they were unhappy but stuck together? I don't really even know! And why did he think that? His parents have a strong marriage and he hasn't been burned by a terrible past relationship. So the hesitancy and separation made no sense to me, thus making it feel like it was just thrown in to make a plot.
This book had so many similarities to the first one in the series that it was kind of annoying. Not sure if I will finish the series bc the next book sounds like it starts the same way

We are back with the Carmichaels and and we know follow Maddox. His childhood best friend Ashley is back in town after calling off her impending wedding to a a major craptastic fiancé. Too bad she spent 10 grand (of her own money) on a non-refundable honeymoon. So, we are back to advertising on social media for a "honeymoon companion". Well, meddling friends and family will put these two together where they belong - even if they seem to be oblivious to how perfect they are for each other.
One Nassau stay on a gorgeous resort, a 40-dollar "wedding ring", pigs who can swim, a "sparkling" meddling brother and a love that began with gum stuck to Ashley's hair in third grade and the friends who finally cave and admit that "it's always been you".
This was such a fun and steamy read. I loved how they were so absolutely in love with each other that no one else had ever "felt right". We are also back with the family pranks (Sparkles!!) and meddling relatives and friends. And a mystery about birds and texts that I can't wait to be solved!
Loved it! Read it in one sitting and I'm definitely checking more of Adriana Locke's backlist.

Oh Fling was so cute! Those Carmichael brothers are a hoot, and I adored Maddox and Ashley's friends-to-lovers story. It was hilarious and heartfelt. Swoony and sexy. Sweet and HOT. Ashley's friends Sara and Becca were so great and I hope we get to see more of them in future Carmichael books.
This was a fun read with only a little of the feels... I really enjoyed it and need to check out more by the author!
