Agatha Christie is an all-time favourite of mine, but Hercule Poirot is not.
This one very certainly is not a favourite.

I've found this book absolutely lovely: with her simple, concise style, Agatha Christie struck again! The humour and turns of the situations were great, but, for some reason, I've been suspecting the killer and reason from the very first 100 pages, I think. It didn't make it any less exciting, because I didn't know how the murder was done and I wasn't sure, anyway. Good for practicing French, too.

Just fine. Thinking perhaps Agatha Christie is not the one for me. I couldn’t be bothered to translate the French, so I couldn’t have enjoyed it too much.

Really good murder mystery, with a lot of moving parts and details however I wish they would modernize these works to make them a bit easier to read

ik heb mezelf wel een beetje gespoilt dood "and then there were none" te lezen, want niets kan de samenloop van elementen in dat boek ooit toppen. toch is dit boek ook erg verweven. hoeveel mensen verdacht zijn is bizar, het is niet te voorspellen wie de moord pleegt, en wanneer je het weet klopt het toch heel goed. dat is de perfecte rol van een misdadiger in zo een boek. poirot is wel een beetje een weirdo, en ik vind het iets leuker om zo een boek te lezen als eigen detective dan via een onmogelijk goede detective, maar ik weet niet hoe dit boek zonder hem zou moeten werken. toch zou ik iedereen aanraden geen moord te plegen als poirot in de buurt is. goed boek, leest heel vlug :) 8/10 °✓.
