What exactly did I just read? The story started out interesting, but I quickly got lost (and bored) with the dream sequences. Figuring them out felt longer than necessary. April was an at times funny, but mostly annoying character who struggles with becoming famous overnight. The book’s depiction of social media, its users, and the scope and speed in which an ideology, both good and bad, can spread is still applicable today. I couldn’t help but be reminded of the Capitol riots that took place three years after this book was published.
