THE FEELS OMFG!!! i was secretly hoping murderbot would eventually meet up with dr. mensah again and omg it happened and my heart was pitter pattering. i know it doesn't like the emotions it's feeling, but murderbot's inner monologue about it had me in my feels. i love it and cannot wait to read the full length novel!!

I followed the advice of a dear friend and switched to listening to these on audio and OHEMGEE she was so right. Kevin Free IS the perfect voice for Murderbot, and I loved being even more in their head rather than reading their words on a page. I also loved this installment because we're back with Mensah and the gang, exploring friendships and choice, and it's just *sigh* too good.  I'm so so glad I picked up this series. On the surface, it's just a hella good time. But the themes it explores are DEEP, y'all. Highly recommend.
