i don’t think i can be objective about this because i read it in a time that’s only come to be the worst point in my life, but this book - it’s perfect to me. it pulled me back, over and over, until i was done and now i only wish to go back to the start and read it again, and again and again. but i feel like that’s the antithesis of whatever this book was trying to impart, or maybe i’m reading too much into it, so i’ll just say this: i needed something to push me through the chronics and the anxiety, and this book came to me during exactly that, being exactly what i needed. it wasn’t a rope, but it also wasn’t not a rope. I felt very connected to the mc!!! I loved the writing and the audiobook narration of this book. I enjoyed the ending and all the relationships in this world.
