Incredibly written, super juicy and entertaining, SUPER spicy. Take this book for what it is: fun, sexy, sweet. But it still has depth to it! A fangirl’s dream of a 2-week fling with a celebrity who used to be a childhood acquaintance, some great and gritty investigative journalism, lovable characters, a dreamy LA scene. A guaranteed HEA with a real story that led up to it, not just fluff. But oh my god THAT SEXY FLUFF!!!

Literally my only complaint is the couple on the cover makes this look like a YA romance—the characters are in their late 20s and early 30s. SO.

Otherwise… this book was WOWEE. You’ll be sweatinggggg oof.

Y’all this book so hot!! I really really enjoyed this one. Great mix of spice, sweet romance, and plot. I loved the relationship between Alec and Georgia. Probably the best famous person regular person romance I’ve ever read. This book also handles the plot surrounding a sexual assault investigation with care. I highly recommend that everyone pick this up!

This is sweet and a little steamy and, though Gigi’s investigation into Jupiter’s sexual assault
allegations is heavy, the story in general remains easy to read.
Despite how quickly the relationship between Gigi and Alec happens, I found myself buying into
their connection as it becomes clear how comfortable they are with other (there’s a scene where
they order food and watch movies and I honestly don’t know why but it turned me into a puddle).

This book made me realize the extent to which I love a book where the couple is actually together for most of the story! While the book mostly takes place over two weeks, it somehow manages to feel like a long and vast love story between two people made for each other, no matter the circumstances in their life.
I loved the great mix between focusing on Alec and Gigi while also developing the side characters like Eden and Yael.
Also, the use of nicknames is realistic and made the characters come alive! I mean the fact that them calling each other “Alec” and “Gigi” makes this story so much more relatable to anyone who has lost contact with someone who knew a different version of yourself than someone would meet today.
The last 15% of the book had my heart in my throat, but it was a great kind of tension!
Overall, I loved it!

Thank you to NetGalley, Pocket Books, and Ivy Owens for providing me access to this book.
