I read this as part of a book club among academic women. There was a lot of interest, but about two chapters in I realized it was focused on women in the humanities and arts. Being an engineer, only some commentary was applicable to me; I think women in STEM fields have a distinct set of challenges, albeit with some overlaps. I knock one star because one chapter in particular was so abstruse and abstract that I didn't even finish it (some very metaphorical treatise on silence).
