Technically, I haven't finished this book but it was incredibly boring and I just couldn't finish it. I tried picking it up last night and just didn't grab my attention. Trust me I tried, but I decided to just stop reading it. I'm just really glad It was a kindle freebie and I didn't spend my money on it.

Absolutely no conclusion. As part of a trilogy I expected that this character's story would be concluded. Not so. There was no finality whatsoever, and there wasn't really a bridge to the next book. If it had a better conclusion I would have given it 5 stars

Honestly, I didn't really like it. It was very predictable and very long and drawn out.\nThen you come to the end. And it ends in a weird place. It seems just cut off. Nothing has been resolved. And it never really answers the question of what Fanny wants her legacy to be.\nOf course, I'll stil read the other two just to see if they get better.

Enjoyable I hope the uncle gets his comeuppance in one of the later books!! I could not believe some of the pain he put his niece through just so he would have a better chance to control her inheritance or even take it!
