This book follows on perfectly from Binding 13, as we follow more of Johnny and Shannon’s story. I couldn’t put this book down, with the heartbreak continuing. Walsh has a talent for writing characters who you feel are your friends and you can really feel all the emotions whilst reading. Again, some really tough topics in this book and always be aware before you pick up! We have more of Shannon’s brothers in this book, and I just wanted to give them all a big hug! Gibsie continues to be hilarious and my heart broke for Joey. I really enjoyed following Shannon and Johnny’s journey, even though it was an emotionally rollercoaster!! I’ve so much I would love to say but don’t want to ruin it for anyone but all I can say is, read this series!!

This was far too long, with repetitive writing that had me skimming a big portion of it. The plot has its moments, with some really intense and emotional scenes, but the majority of the story was predictable and a bit of a sludge to get through. Gibsie was the true shining star of this book for me - I’m way more interested in his story, but the style of writing and sheer size of the books has me on the fence about continuing with the series.
