Closer to a 3.5. The story was good and was full of more potential BUT I couldn’t get over Cami’s interdiaglouge “Miss Sparkly” it completely ruined the story for me.

Also, the ending seemed a little unrealistic considering all the struggles Cami was going through the entire book

Darling, frustrating, and cathartic all at once! Perfect for a cozy winter read.

Reasons this didn’t work for me: MC’s job seemed ridiculous. Like there’s a million apps for cropping out people in photos. Also she would have full on conversations in her head with her alternate personality. It was very odd. Lastly, she was so dense when it came to Noah liking her. Like he had to beat her over the head with it. This was not for me.

I promise I'm trying to be gentle here.

Loved the idea of falling for the ex husband's best friend. I don't think I've ever read that before. It started off well but soon the Twilight and Harry Potter references started to grow old. The humor fell flat for me pretty quickly.

The characters Cami and Noah Cullen *suppresses laughter* anyway, they did nothing for me. The chemistry was kinda meh. Noah was there but less sparkly. But the worst was Cami, whose whole personality is just running a blog or whatever that was. I skimmed through okay?! So don't ask me any specific questions

Lovely book. The only problem I have was the alter ego Cam had. It was a bit annoying going back and forward between her own self and the alter ego (Miss Sparkles).

But other than that everything about his book is beautiful

This was a take on a holiday book that I didn’t think about. Three years ago Cami, a pumpkin spice loving holiday aficionado, walked in to find her husband and his client going at it under her prized Christmas tree.

Following this event Cami shut down everything sparkly and even remotely related to the holidays. But in comes Noah, her and her ex husbands best friend who she wrote off along with holidays and her ex following the divorce, and he is ready to break down all of her walls to help her rediscover her sparkle.

Noah is absolutely swoonworthy. He showed up for Cami over and over again and was completely focused on helping her find the love in herself that she had lost.

That mixed in with all of the fun holiday moments and you’ve got a top tier holiday pick!!

Sweet NOT spicy holiday rom-com.
