I dont know if i liked this book better than the first but I will say that things revved up quite a bit. I liked learning more about each of the characters and was glad to see that _______ ended up together. I wanna see more of this dark magic at play though. It's pretty wild.

I really struggled with this one. It didn't hook me and I didn't like how the future/current narration spoiled what happened in the past. There was nothing interesting to me. Not looking forward to the third.
