It wasn't my favorite of her books, but it was still written really well and it was a compelling story.

I was fine with reading a book that had no buildup with the romance between Blue and Wilson. Also fine with the fact that Wilson was similar to how an unexperienced writer writes British people—all British words bunched into one paragraph.

I was starting to get disgusted upon the fact that neither Mason nor Brandon had any consequences for 1.) taking a naked picture of someone. 2.) manipulating a minor to send pictures of themselves. And 3.) spreading said pictures of the minor.

I was finally done reading at 85% because I can’t fucking take it anymore. Especially the blatant racism when Blue calls Mr. Chen… “Mr. Ying Yang.”

Oh, because that’s soooo original.

Nice work author, you’ve made me hate the book and you.

This is the story of a nobody who becomes somebody. It is the story of an unlikely friendship, where hope fosters healing and redemption becomes love. But falling in love can be hard when you don't know who you are. Falling in love with someone who knows exactly who they are and exactly why they can't love you back might be impossible.

I initially enjoyed this. Even though I felt like some parts of the story were random and didn’t quite fit, I liked the slow meaningful friendship that developed between Wilson and Blue. I enjoyed watching Blue’s self discovery and how her past relationships made her who she is. But the last 25% of the book went off the rails. It felt like Wilson’s character completely changed and he became someone else. Someone I didn’t like. I thought Blue deserved more from him.

Very good! I was shocked to learn that this book was only 389 pages because so much happened! It read like a 600-page book. In a good way! Amy Harmon is such a good writer and storyteller.
