This was cute. Realistic & sensitive depiction of OCD.

The miscommunication trope is a lot more forgivable when it comes to teenagers. I loved the representation of OCD, and the relationship was sweet and genuine even if it took fucking forever for it to get started. The slow burn DID, however, work because I was literally jumping up and down at certain milestones.

Also the audiobook narrator was rad. An overall sweet story with lots to say.

lighthearted

This is an incredibly cute book, but it's YA so zero chili peppers (boo).

I didn't love the pacing and I thought it would be more focused on the outdoors explorer thingy the two main characters were doing, but as always, Hibbert does amazing banter and marginalized / minority representation.

Super cute you g adult romcom!! Celine and Brad are current frenemies and former best friends. They end up on a kind of wilderness retreat competition for a scholarship. Both MCs are fun, flirty, given depth, and not annoying at all. I really couldn't ask for anything more from a teen romance!
