This series is the epitome of the concept "Lite and Fluffy."

Why so short, gosh I am so ready for Divergent though. The perfect precursor to the end of the series release. Amped up my excitement! (Plus, more background on Four, makes him so intriguing.)

I have mixed feelings about this one. I enjoyed the story and I really like Tobias but I don't think this really added a thing to my understanding of Tobias...all of it was covered in the main stories. Also, I love the style of writing of these books but the style was identical when it was supposed to be Tobias's voice as opposed to Trix's which I think might hurt the overall feel of the series. Roth certainly seemed less versatile in this book that I would have hoped. I am mostly just ready for the next real book in the series.

First of all. *Fan girl mode on*Omg omg omg Four!!! Finally a book from Four's perspective, and more will be coming!!! *twirls* *Fan girl mode off*
This book was really short (kind of sad about it, but the fact there will be more books makes up for that), but it was really full with information.
We begin with Tobias/Four when he just had his test to see what faction he would be good for. We get up and close with his violent and crazy dad (seriously that man is crazy, being in this faction and being so violent), poor Tobias.
Then we get the whole choosing ceremony and we know how that ended.
It was really fun to read about Four, to find out more about him and how everything started for him, to see his pain, to see him fight against his father and his destiny/faction.
I personally can't wait for more of Four's perspective books!
