This is written beautifully and features A+ world building, a lot of action, and gory fight scenes. It took me a little while to get into, but once the story started picking up, I really enjoyed it. It's written as a saga as opposed to an arc, so it might not be for everyone, but if you're ready for a journey, I highly recommend it.

Had a few lulls where I had to force myself to read, didn’t like the constant description of what clothes they were wearing and stuff. Might have DNFed if it wasn’t for Orca but the ending was awesome and worth it
normally I tear through books quickly, and I'm sad this wasn't really my cup of tea. Maybe I just need to read it as a whole, I just felt bad because two thirds of the main characters I really enjoyed but when it wasn't Orka or Varg I just kind of skimmed. it's not bad and I don't like that ok is 2 stars, I will check out to see where things go and I have high hopes for the rest of it.

This was suchhhh a well written book. It did take me a while to read it honestly just cause when you think you got the plot, there’s even more development but that’s what I was craving and that’s exactly what I got. This book to me is the next GOT and I KNOWWWWW thats a big claim. The characters are all so strong and have such interesting personalities and journeys and the action???? The FIGHTING???? Also don’t forget dragons and a bada** FMC who I want to train me to fight in my fantasy life. Highly recommend and getting the second book asap
