8.5/10: Cheesy in all the best ways, plus I really enjoyed the humor and energy between the two main characters. The ending felt a bit predictable, though.

I didn't necessarily fall in love with the main characters or find them as funny as other novels in the genre, or the only other Abby Jimenez book I've read, but I liked them enough. It was cheesy at first and I felt that some of the family dynamics were underdeveloped, but there were really sweet moments, and I loved the themes the book touches on with memories and the role they play in relationships.

This book was good, but it took me a while to finish because I chose books of greater interest to read rather than this one.

This book ripped me open, to the point where I cried at work. 10/10 would recommend

Wow I loved this one. Starts off cute and fun, but eventually unravels into a complex and realistic set of difficult life hurdles. Heart-warming and heart-breaking at the same time. A tender love story mixed with an honest picture of life and grief and adulthood. I love how it ended in a happy way but not a perfect way.
