Wow - what a treat! The audio book is read by Carrie Fisher and she not only dishes "all" about being a high school / drama school drop out in her first big role as Princess Leia and relationship with Harrison Ford but... she's hilarious, raw, honest and uses words in ways that will have your head spinning. She's the red blooded, warm, witty, wise and totally untrustworthy (she'd say so herself) narrator of her own story. Listen to this as an audio book if you can - they slow it down a bit, and I found that 1.5x speed is about the same pace as the way Carrie Fisher spoke on interviews I've heard in the past. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I actually loved this a lot. I listened to the audiobook and it was soothing and funny but Billie Lourd reading her mother's diary entries was my very favorite part.

Usually, my reviews on books are pretty in depth, but after Carrie's death, I don't think it would be a very objective review. So, all I will say is that is was a pleasure to read, and I'm lucky to have had Carrie talk casually to me through her writing one last time.
