It took me ages to finish this one — over a month to get halfway through then a day for the last half, but because of that I felt it would be unfair to give it too many stars. It honestly just took me a long time to get excited about this book, and I think a key point was missing until her illness was revealed. Then it got very moving and philosophical, but I wish there was just a little more romance in the two main relationships. I wanted more from each to make it all make more sense. But overall this book is a nice message on time and fate, and I love how Rebecca Serle uses this kind of magical realism to deliver real impactful messages about life.

"learning to be broken, is learning to be whole"

i loved this so much - the whole premise was fun and unique. i really enjoyed all the stories of her past relationships weaved into the current timeline. i will say i definitely didn't see a couple pieces of this story coming, but i think they added some layers to the story that paid off.

this audiobook, as expected, was wonderful. julia whelan really brings stories to life in the best way possible.
