You know what?

I’m not sure what to make do this. It was a good read but man Yato is definitely a piece of work. The world building and the introduction of the various spirits and gods is really interesting. I’ve had this on my TBR for a while, and I’m actually glad that I finally picked it up! I’ve great things about the anime so I’ll be sure to check that out soon.

Guess I'm in the minority. I didn't like this at all. The characters (especially Yani) are unlikeable, the plot is confusing, and the art is messy. I've read reviews that say this is funny, can't see it myself.


Don't continue with the series.

"Noragami" erinnerte mich irgendwie an "Death Note". Ich weiß nicht warum, aber das ist der Grund, warum ich mir den Manga zugelet hatte. Ich mag die Geschichte dieses doch sehr chaotischen Gottes, der zeitweise für mehr Verwirrung sorgt anstatt diese zu zerstreuen. 

Auch seine Mitstreiter sind nicht wirklich seine Fans und wenn es ginge, würden diese mit Sicherheit schneller die Biege machen, als man gucken kann. Aber das bleibt leider bei einigen der Nebencharaktere aus. Sie sind ebenso mysteriös wie die eigentliche Hauptfigur, was durchaus seinen Reiz hat. 

Und auch wenn mir die Charaktere und der Zeichenstil sehr gefallen, weiß ich nicht, ob mich die Reihe und deren Entwicklung so sehr fesselt, dass ich sie fortsetzen möchte. Im Moment ist das nicht der Fall, weswegen ich nach Band 1 definitiv pausiere. Sollte ich irgendwann einmal nichts mehr zu lesen haben und mein Interesse gewachsen sein, werde ich mich der Reihe wieder annehmen.
