good overview, nice introduction to the history of the lgbtq+ movement. told with great love and care, capturing the most important people and events. if i’d have to give one criticism, i would say that the book tends to be rather anglosaxon in its focus. it’s understandable, and luckily there are examples and sections on other parts of the world, but this was a personal pet peeve.
lil minus point for a factual inaccuracy i’m a little shocked found its way in here

A great resource for anybody, but especially perhaps for the younger generations to learn about our communities history.
The book highlights that whilst progress has been made, it's only really happened in recent history (the last 50 years or so). The narrative explores this progress and also serves as a reminder of how much more is still to be done.
