Another great Stephanie Plum novel. My kid really enjoy listing to this series and will only listen when Lorelei King is the narrator. Her voice work is seamless and enjoyable, Grandma and Lula take the prize. I always love that as the series has progressed she manages to mostly save herself or some strange accident helps her “escape.” Can’t wait to dive back in to hear some more hijinks with Stephanie and her crew.
So many crazy things happen in this book but I still am addicted. This one left me hanging though
It was good. I was disappointed that Evanovich didn't make the ending a bit more shocking. I knew who the killer was from the beginning. Overall, great book.
No doubt--Stephanie Plum is in her usual element. My 3 stars is in comparison to her previous adventures. Still, a good read for Plum followers - the love triangle continues, but (and I might not be remembering right) perhaps a little more graphically. (I guess You can thank Joe's grandma and "vordo" for that. Only Stephanie. :) )
If you haven't read any of Janet Evanovich's "Stephanie Plum" novels, I highly recommend you start start with "One for the Money" and read them all--including "Smokin' Seventeen".

Better than the last one. I can't help but hear Shaggy's voice when reading Mooner talk. I'm surprised to see the next Plum novel out in November 2011. If the series would just be made into movies I could stop reading the books. Until then I'll keep my fingers crossed that Ranger gets the girl in the end! And I do hope our likable character Stephanie gets to figure out her life soon.
More Meh. I knew the ending way too early for this to really be enjoyable. Can she stop doing the same thing over and over again? A little learning from her mistakes would help.
Finished in a day. These books crack me up! Great summer read.
I hate to say it, but these books keep getting lamer and lamer....
