GO VORDO!!! lol loved it and can't wait for Explosive Eighteen!

I totally got sucked into buying this book on the promise from Ms. Evanovich that this was the "decision" book, and while I don't want to give anything away I feel the need to call BULLSHIT. I liked this book and yes it did make me laugh out loud and yes I even snorted once but AAAAGGGGHHHHH!! Stephanie actually caught some skips quickly, for once, all the best funny stuff was there, Lula, cars exploding, Grandma Mazur at the funeral home, Lula, Grandma Bella and the evil eye, Lula, getting food thrown on her, Lula, capturing someone naked and Lula. There was also more sex in this book than the last 5 combined but I didn't feel any connection between Stephanie and either man so it just felt like filler. If you are a fan and have stuck with the series this long then yes you must read it but get it from the library or wait till it comes out in paperback.

I don't know why I still continue to read this series. Seriously, it needs to end already. Full review on www.precisionreviews.blogspot.com

This is one book you shouldn't read late at night next to your sleeping husband :) The giggle factor is just too much!

As enjoyable as ever and I did appreciate all the time spent with Ranger & Morelli. However, could we reach some kind of conclusion? As much as I enjoy these books (I always like a break from thinking), I think it's time that Stephanie figure out something with her life...pick a guy, find a job, have a kid, eat less doughnuts...something!

Side note...I wish I had Plum's problem: two hot men to pick from...that only happens in genre fiction.

Better than #16. Stephanie in danger equals more fun, laughs, and sex.

It hurts me to give a Stephanie Plum book a 2 star rating, but it really was only okay. Maybe it's gone on too long, I don't know. Some of the writing seemed tired. Do we really need Stephanie to keep blowing up cars? Does Grandma Mazur need to try to pry open a casket at another viewing? I've loved Stephanie's shenanigans, but this book just seemed to recycle everything and I want something new and funny. The identity of the killer wasn't even a surprise. Hope 18 is better.

y can't JE have Steph grow up a little, get some skills, look at her life and really consider whether she wants to be Morelli's Burg wife or Ranger's Wonder Woman? Instead JE keeps doing these idiotic and repetitive plots and in this book...the characters don't feel real.

Stephanie, Lula & the gang are back! Smokin' Seventeen is another action and comedy-packed romp through Trenton. Favorite running gags all make an appearance... Grandma Mazur's funeral fascination, Stephanie's track record with guys and cars, and plenty of ironing for Stephanie's mom. This new mystery introduces a new fellow into Stephanie's love life, a serial killer, and a dancing bear. Grandma Bella's curses add some extra fun. Another enjoyable and humorous read!

For die-hard fans of the series only. I'm one, and I enjoyed it, but if any aspect of the books have been bugging you recently, I'm sure this book will trigger that feeling.
