Cute but didn’t need to be as long as many things felt very drawn out but I did love the friendship between Dante and Michelle. I wish in the actual book we could explore Gabe’s feelings about his dad dating and the challenges Gabe faces with his mommy issues

This was a really nice collection of scenes from Dante and Gabe's life after the end of their book. It was well paced and it continued their relationship in a really thoughtful way. I enjoyed seeing them ruminate over and then make big life decisions together. I love romance novels for the happily-ever-after parts so getting so many extra glimpses of this was just perfect!

Side note - although this is branded as a Christmas book, it wasn't just Christmas - instead we are taken through a handful of different holidays over the period of a year. I read this in March so it was nice that it wasn't super Christmas-y!

I adored revisiting Gabe and Dante in THE WINGING IT HOLIDAY SPECIAL and it was great to see what they've been up to 6 years later. It was especially nice to see them so in love and settled in their relationship. My only complaint is that I thought the set up for them adopting a baby was a little too convenient and contrived but this was clearly meant to be a lighthearted and sweet follow up so I get it.
