This book is a puzzle not designed to be solved. This is not your wine-o’clock romance, feel-good read.

“A book from a hundred years ago or a hundred years in the future.”

staring blankly off into the distance as i ponder existence

But a sky does not die, it is I who am dying, who was already dying in this bunker—and I tell myself that I am alone in this land that no longer has any jailers, or prisoners, unaware of what I came here to do, the mistress of silence, owner of bunkers and corpses. (p.159)
