What a moving story of self-discovery, survival and female solidarity.

This is the type of book I would want every woman to read.

Fuck!! I knew this would leave me in an absolute wreck, but not this much!! After finishing it, I feel so heavy that I feel nothing. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's that kind of feeling where everything in you is so overwhelmed that your mind just shuts off all emotions!! It carries so much pain and heartache, and yet still, I absolutely loved it!!

I Who Have Never Known Men will stay with me for many years to come!

This book was a trip. I love the psychology of it. What would happen if one person was left alone for that long, without any knowledge of the world before? It's really intriguing, and I love Jacqueline Harpman's take on it. The writing itself was fantastic, and I did enjoy the descriptions and emotions conveyed through it. The only issue I took with it was the slight inconsistency that I found in the narration - although it is put there on purpose to make the story more believable, it did bug me.
