much to think about…

it is misleading to posit this as like a hardcore SCIENCE FICTION/DYSTOPIAN book. ofc it takes place in a dystopian environment but that’s more so just an excuse to put these women in a place where the author can explore ideas of freedom, memory, time, love, humanity, etc etc. it is not about world-building, resolving curiosities, or answering questions about the immediate environment for these ladies. it’s certainly not…thrilling
