A little bit of context reading though not sure what it means as of yet. Kelsier was a different character before mistborn - more depressing and super inexperienced as a mistborn. Gemmel is an important character somehow and the eleventh metal was found out from a scholar's book. For now i give it 2 stars because it felt like a pointless read. But we will see how it goes after I continue with the cosmere series.

A nice little story about some of Keslier training. I missed his humor and enjoyed seeing a little bit of his world after the pit but before the final empire.

glad I read this novella after mistborn era 1 - perfect palate cleanser, and I hope Kelsier POVs aren’t over (a girl can wish okay)

Nice to get a bit more Kelsier in this one. I've read the first two books in the Mistborn Era 1 series, and personally I think this would be better read after The Final Empire, in order to get a better grasp on the metals. Still pretty neat.
