Cute and fun but Emma’s lack of reading between the lines was infuriating.

Not my favorite of Katherine Center’s book but I did still enjoy it. They were sweet characters, but I did get a bit annoyed by some of Emma’s self-pity. And the random fourth-wall breaking was weird.

This book just didn't hit well with me. I found the characters really hard to like and the story more depressing than loveable. This book touches on some really serious topics and is a very prominent focus of the story. I just didn't buy the romance between the two main characters either, we didn't really get much of a chance to see that relationship even grow to the point that the ending even seemed possible.

A fun and yet also heart-rending story, as usual. I ❤️ Emma and Charlie.

Katherine Center wrote one of my favorite books, "How to Walk Away" and I was a little nervous to read her newest release because the last two have been "good" but not amazing.  However "The Rom-Commers" might be my new favorite Katherine Center novel 🥰❤️ I loved the way Katherine weaved falling in love into everyday, messy, and complicated life with all the highs, lows, heartbreaks and happily ever afters. I loved Emma & Charlie's love story, their personal growth and the wild adventure they went on together for 6 weeks. This is a laugh out loud and cry your eyes out tail that in my season of life I completely relate too.

Trigger warnings: Grief, loss, cancer, caregiving for a parent

Surprise surprise, another 5-star read from Katherine Center. This was a true love letter to the romance genre and, to borrow a phrase, I absolutely felt its glow in my heart

This book is full of beautiful emotion, laugh-out-loud charm, and incredible banter.

My one complaint would be that the ending was a little rushed , but I can easily forgive that for everything else we get in return
