Oh I loved the story of Emma and her personal struggles (she was so me at times it hurt) and Charlie just being this normal guy dealing with all this shit. LIKE OOOH HE LOVES HER HAIR AND WORE HER DRESS AS A HANDKERCHIEF IM GONNA KILL MYSELF

A very sweet, emotional rom com with some swoony moments. Closed door. Enjoyable read, though it deals with some tough topics at times. The author’s manifesto on the value of love stories (after the epilogue) was actually one of my favorite things about this book!

A cute, quick & easy read. Exactly what it was meant to be. Katherine does a great job at blending heavier themes into lighter material.

I liked Center’s descriptions of the facial expressions/looks people give and the meaning behind each look. And I loved the author’s note about unapologetically loving romance. That said I was not a fan of the bronchitis fakeout. And I may have missed it but did Emma apologize to her sister about the horrifying things she said to her when Emma was traveling to the airport? It seemed like her sister was so apologetic but then where was Emma’s verbal explanation to her sister? And why wasn’t her sister more angry at Emma? Just feels like a very upsetting thing to read did not have closure. This is why I feel like I missed something? This had a bit too much “I care about you but I still don’t want to be with you” so that felt drawn out and a little gaslight-y. Since obviously he did want to be with her.

I’ve loved every Katherine Center book I’ve read. She’s an auto-buy author for me. The Bodyguard is still my favorite followed by Hello Stranger. The Rom-Commers held up to my expectations! There was humor, fun, witty banter and heartwarming moments. Katherine Center’s books are more than just romance. She intertwines serious elements and ties it up with a beautiful message/lesson. 4 stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Better than the previous ones. The good parts are good. The bad parts are so incredibly bad and outweigh the good. KC needs content warnings.
