This is the first book that I have read by Sarah Ready. This is her third book from the series, but they can be read as standalones. Fiona Abry is the CEO of Abry Watch Company, a family-owned Swiss watch company she and Daniel inherited from their late father. Fiona shut herself off to love after the ones she trusted the most betrayed her. When Fiona's mother offers her a long-lost family treasure and claims that not only did she steal the watch, but it also has the power to fulfil dreams and reveal one's deepest  desires, Curious but sceptical, Fiona uses it one evening after telling her relatives to rediscover who she is and to let love into her life. Fiona meets Aaron in her dreams, and it seems that he is her spouse; the two of them have two kids together. Fiona must pick which life to choose as she struggles between reality and fiction. The wonder of love and meeting the person who makes your heart skip a beat—look, dream, and believe instead of settling.

Thank You to NetGalley and Swift & Lewis Publishing LLC for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fiona, Daniel’s sister from Ghosted, has been abandoned one too many times, starting from when her mom dropped her off at her dad’s doorstep when she was 6 and ending with her boyfriend of two years leaving her pregnant after telling her he has a whole family on the side. That left her unwilling to open her heart up to any potential new relationships. But when her mom gives her a lost family heirloom that lets her find her dreams, she may not have a choice in the matter anymore!

Before you start reading this book, brace yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions! It took me from slight indifference, to attachment, to desperation, to hope, to heartbreak, and finally to healing!

I wasn’t too excited to see how Fiona found her happily ever after. Having read Ghosted last week, it was fresh in my memory that Daniel mentioned the competition he had with his sister that ended up with her getting married. But also having been scared of Fiona (even fully knowing her older-sister protective instincts towards Daniel), I didn’t think I would like her too much.

But boy was I wrong!

I loved the dream setting of the book! It allowed Fiona to willingly choose to go into her dreams to be with Aaron every night. Her instinct at knowing that there was something off with Becca calling him McCormick was a sure sign that their connection was inevitable. And this was confirmed by his ability to tell when it was her instead of Becca talking to him.

As an admirer of watches, it was fun to read the parts about the company, the watches, and the designs. And if Abry was a real company, I would have started saving to get myself a McCormick!

As with the other books in this series, the characters in the book outside of the main couple cannot be ignored. Mila and Amy (and Sean, too) brought out the best in Fiona! Seeing her think of the daughter she has and the daughter who needed a loving mother was absolutely heartwarming. Memorizing poetry to recite to Amy is the epitome of love!

I was hesitant to like Max
, fearing that he would not keep to his word and stay friends with Fiona should she turn him down, but I loved seeing their friendship survive. And it broke my heart that he has resigned himself to a loveless life.
I am happy he will have his happily ever after soon, too!

Ready does it again!!

Like Switched & Ghosted I found Fated by Sarah Ready just as captivating!

The FMC, Fiona ( older sister to Daniel in book one Ghosted) the CEO of a Family Watch company & workaholic, gets a magical family watch that allows her to dream of a different world, one where she is married with two kids. Only she us also having an affair with her husband’s, best friend. A far cry from her quite single mom life in Geneva, Switzerland and one where she thinks she will never meet her own true love and is contemplating marrying her best friend.

This wonderful story included found family, magical realism and soulmates. It will have you thinking outside of the box, dreaming of tropical locations, fated mates and love meant to be. It also reminded me a bit of some of my favourite movies, THE LAKE HOUSE with Sandra Bullock & JUST LIKE HEAVEN with Reese Witherspoon.

Thank you to the author herself, NetGalley and W. W. Crown and imprint of Swift & Lewis Publishing for providing me with an advanced audio copy and e-copy. Also, a great big thank you to Kelsey Navarro Foster and James Anderson Foster for the amazing narration. I cannot wait for book four WISHED out later this year.

This wonderful book is released on July 16th! Definitely recommend grabbing a copy.

Tears were shed. playlists were made. I loved this so much and I'm so happy about it!
This is the third book in the series -it can be read as a standalone though- and it's my favorite so far. I enjoyed the narration, Shakira Shute did a great job. I loved the romance, it was sweet and heart-warming. I loved the side characters too, they were memorable (which is really important to me). I think it could've been a little bit shorter if the descriptions weren't so lengthy, they were beautifully written and I enjoyed them but I couldn't help zoning out sometimes because there were a lot of them.

I received the advanced audiobook recording of the publication via NetGalley. It comes out July 16th!

Hopeful romance about what happens when you find love, but only in your dreams.

This is my second dive into the Ghosted series, and its such a beautiful written and though evoking series. I intend to go back and read the first book in the series.

“If you ever need me, if you ever find yourself awake at night wanting me, I’ll be here. I’ll be here loving you”

I was a little skeptical at first, as I hardly come across stories that are able to tie together a dream world/ fake family with reality. But this story was able to come to a highly satisfying ending, that didn’t diminish the character growth.

“McCormick can’t leave me - he isn’t real”

An additional bonus were the  quirks of the story being set in Geneva. Also, I feel like this could be counted as a Christmas story as the story is bookended by the festive season.

”In dreaming we do all the magical, wondrous things we are afraid to do in waking life”

Thank you Netgalley, the publisher & author for this arc in exchange for this honest review.

Thanks to Netgalley and the tagged publisher for my copy of Fated by Sarah Ready, the third book in the Ghosted series.

A captivating tale of love and the supernatural in Fated by Sarah Ready.

I liked how Fiona Abry's journey to find love was portrayed in this book, although it did have a slower pace compared to the previous instalment of the series. The connections to the last book, especially the part about the bet, were fantastic. The story explores the romance between Aaron and Fi, revealing that things are not as perfect as they seem when Fi enters Aaron’s life. It has a great premise and a fresh, sweet feel, delving deeply into paranormal themes. Fiona, a busy working person, Fiona dreams of a different life with Aaron and the children by the beach, adding an intriguing twist to the plot. Aaron is a particularly compelling character, and Fiona's relationships with her brother, Daniel and her best friend, Max, truly add depth to the story. I'm eagerly anticipating the fourth book in this series.
