I don’t really know what I just read. I liked it at times, but I also found a lot of it very confusing. The time jumps and figuring out what was real and what wasn’t really messed me up and hindered my enjoyment. Not what I was expecting.

I don’t really know how to review or rate this book. For the first half, I was completely in. For the second, I struggled and started skimming. His writing is so poetic and visual, but the characters and their stories are so incredibly tragic that it was too much.
